Over the last few years we’ve seen a big interior trend for bringing plants back into the home. The benefits of houseplants are becoming well known, they purify the air, reduce stress and look beautiful. Nottingham has a great plant shop in The Watered Garden in Sneinton Market Avenues specialising in both hard-to-find house plants and terrariums this new shop on the market is a deep green joy that few could deny. 

Becca and Chris started The Watered Garden in their parents' conservatory in February 2017. Little did they know that a few trays of rescued houseplants in a conservatory would turn into Nottingham’s first houseplant shop. The couple quickly realised how popular exotic plants were becoming, and how hard they were to get hold of.

When they saw the beautiful units in Sneinton Market with their ‘plant perfect’ glass fronts and skylights, they knew that this was the home for their fledgling business.

After 3 months of building and fitting out, they finally opened their doors in July 2018.
